• Catarina Macario scored two goals and added two assists in Lyon’s 8-0 win over Soyaux in France’s D1 Arkema. She is tied for second in the league with nine goals for Lyon, winner of all 14 league games. U.S. teammate Lindsey Horan did not dress due to knee irritation and will be replaced by Jaelin Howell on the U.S. team for the SheBelieves Cup.
• Twila Kilgore has been appointed to the U.S. women’s national team staff as an assistant coach, joining Milan Ivanovich and Philip Poole on Vlatko Andonovski’s full-time staff. She spent the last two and a half years as an assistant coach with the Houston Dash. She is one of just four women, and the first American-born woman, to earn U.S. Soccer’s Pro Coaching License.
