• Suspensions handed to Oregon State ahead of Men’s College Cup. Head coach Greg Dalby was suspended for four games and senior Javier Armas was suspended for two games after the Spanish midfielder played in the 7-1 quarterfinal win over SMU despite being suspended due to yellow-card accumulation (eight cards). Oregon State, which faces Notre Dame in Friday’s semifinals, self-reported the violation.
• NWSL will expand regular season to 26 games. The regular season will kick off on March 16, and the final will take place on Nov. 23. League play will break for six weeks in the middle of the season. An International tournament will fill the Olympic break. (Soccer America)
