A World Cup that feels like it’s 24/7 needs media that are the same. Sirius XM might not be totally live around the clock for five straight weeks, but it is dedicating its Sirius XM FC Channel (157) to the tournament: broadcasting all the games and sprinkling in soccer talk on some of the music channels.
You may have heard some of these folks on the Sirius XM FC channel regularly: Eric Wynalda, Tony Meola and Dax McCarty. They’re joined by a number of people, including World Cup veterans, Coach Bob Bradley and defender Walker Zimmerman of the USA and England’s Wes Brown and Bradley Wright-Phillips.
“We want to be the place where all fans can come, be engaged be entertained, be informed,” said Sirius XM Senior Vice President Jared Fox.

The channel is doing at least two hours live after every U.S. game, with a mixture of on-air voices. If you’re into music you might hear voices like those of Alexi Lalas, Matt Freese or Miles Robinson, and others, spinning a few tunes as guest DJs.
