Khosroshahin’s overall record at USC was 82-53-15, but just 21-33-5 in the last three years. In Pac-12 play, he was 30-31-8 and his teams did not place higher than sixth thelast three seasons.
“We wish Ali well and thank him for his dedicated service in bringing the first NCAA women’s soccer title to USC and to the Pac-12 in 2007,” said USC athletic directorPat Haden. “But based on the past few years, we felt it was time to go in a new direction. We need to reinvigorate our program and get back to contending forNCAA and conference championships.”
