Grant Wahl atSI.com reports that Klinsmann has been killing two birds with one stone by flying ahelicopter from his home in Huntington Beach to Carson — a distance of 25 miles — and avoiding the traffic on the 405. The trips have been earning him the hours needed to obtain his helicopter pilotlicense.
Flying from home to practice also allows him to spend the night with his family but be back with his players for breakfast.
