SI.com’s Grant Wahl writes that multiple sources say that Jurgen Klinsmann’s duties as U.S. Soccer Technical Director “have become more ceremonialthan before.” That over the past, U.S. Soccer’s chief commercial director Jay Berhalter has started taking over a lot of the day-to-day technical director duties. A U.S. Soccerspokesperson said: “Any perception that there’s a power struggle is simply false. Everyone is working collectively to improve the technical side on a daily basis.”
