Coach Mike Munoz‘s Los Angeles Galaxy II, the MLS club’s reserve team that plays in the USL, includes highly touted teens such as 17-year-old U.S. youth national team playersUlysses Llanez and Alex Mendez, and the 15-year-old Efrain Alvarez, who has opted to play in Mexico’s youth national team program. Munoz, who wasinspired to become a coach after playing for Bob Bradley with Chivas USA in 2005-06, coached in the Galaxy’s academy from 2013 until taking over as Los Dos head coach in 2017.
