[MLS SPOTLIGHT] MLS introduced the owners of the new club that is scheduled to begin play in Los Angeles in 2017. The ownership group is headed by executivechairman Henry Nguyen, a Vietnamese-American entrepreneur, managing partner Peter Guber, a veteran sports entrepreneurin baseball and basketball, and president Tom Penn, whose background is in basketball, but its ownership group — 22 investors in all — includes suchwell-known sports figures as Earvin Johnson, Mia Hamm and her husband, NomarGarciaparra.
