Barcelona presidential hopeful Joan Laporta says the current administration looks ridiculous after failing to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba for 80 million euros($88.8 million). Laporta, who was president of Barca from 2003 to 2010, is challenging President Josep Maria Bartomeu in the next election on July 18. He has made Pogba the focus ofhis candidacy, claiming he could secure the Frenchman’s signature as he is a close personal friend of Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola.
