For the third time this summer, Leicester City broke its record for the highest transfer fee, signing 28-year-old Algerian Islam Slimani from Sporting Lisbon for a fee believed to be $38million. Earlier deals brought French midfielder Nampalys Mendy (Nice) and Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow) to the Foxes.
