Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare said he was not behind the firing of his predecessor, Italian manager Claudio Ranieri.
“We have never had any arguments orhard feelings,” Shakespeare said. “Free speech is there for everybody. I don’t have any problem with that. I have a clear conscience.”
His remarks on the eve of the UEFA Champions Leaguequarterfinal against Atletico Madrid came after Ranieri hinted at problems with somebody at Leicester.
