Lindsay Casinelli, part of the UnivisionTelevisa network’s expansive Copa America coverage, came to the USA from Venezuela to study at Cal State Long Beach. In 2008, two years after graduating, she became the first woman sports anchor for the Los Angeles Univision affiliate KMEX. Currently seen on Univision’s ¡Despierta América! and La Voz de la Mañana, and TUDN’s Futbol Central, Casinella has long also been reporting on the elite levels of basketball, baseball, football and boxing.
