MLS expansion team LAFC signed 24-year-old Honduran goalkeeper Luis Lopez from Real Espana to battle former Seattle Sounders backup keeper Tyler Miller for the starting job.
Lopez made 124 appearances in five seasons for Real Espana, which won the Apertura 2017 in the fall. He started for Honduras in the Gold Cup and played two games in the Hexagonal,including the 1-1 tie against the USA in San Pedro Sula.
