Luis Gil became the latest Mexican-American to leave MLS, signing on a free transfer with Queretaro from Real Salt Lake. His move after six years in MLS with RSL followed the transfers ofJorge Villafana from Portland to Santos and Omar Gonzalez from the LA Galaxy to Pacha. MLS fans could see both Gil and Villafana in action soon as their clubs face MLS opposition inthe quarterfinals of the Concacaf Champions League.
