Former Brazilian federation president Jose Maria Marin was released on $15 million bail and allowed to live with tight restrictions in a New York apartmentvalued at $3.5 million following his appearance in Federal court on Tuesday in Brooklyn. He pleaded not guilty to U.S. charges stemming from a sprawling bribery case that has resulted in his arrestand that of six other FIFA officials in Zurich in May. Seven other men, all sports executives, were also indicted.
