Michael Hoyer has been named National Executive Director of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), succeeding Ian McMahon, who was hired for the position inSeptember of 2014.
Hoyer, who played AYSO as a youngster, started working for AYSO as a volunteer before serving as Deputy Executive Director and Acting National Executive Director.
“It’s a great time to be in AYSO,” Hoyer said in a statement. “We have new program additions and are creating a stronger collaboration with U.S. Soccer. I’m honored to be a partof this organization and am looking forward to leading the way with my friends, family and AYSO community.”
