[SPORTS VISITORS] Sixteen youth coaches from Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and Yemen are in Washington through June 15 on a two-week stay organized by the U.S. StateDepartment for workshops with American coaches, clinics with young athletes and meetings with U.S. sports professionals.
The participants are connecting with organizations that includethe Virginia Youth Soccer Association, MLS’s D.C. United and the NWSL’s Washington Spirit.
The State Department sports diplomacy program is run by the Bureau of Educational and CulturalAffairs.
