Victories by several teams increased the pressure on D.C. United, which held the top spot in the Soccer America’s MLS Power Rankings by tying Sporting Kansas City, 1-1.  New England, FC Dallas,New York and Vancouver all posted victories to move up in the Power Rankings behind D.C. United. After tying three in a row, the Galaxy lost to FC Dallas, 2-1, to drop out of the top five.
