• Union wins big again. Philadelphia beat Colorado, 6-0, to give it back-to-back 6-0 wins and four wins by six or more goals — a single-season MLS record — in its last 10 games. The shutout was the 12th of the season for the Union, whose 20 goals conceded are 10 fewer than the next fewest allowed. “We started with a good defensive foundation at the beginning of the year,” said Union coach Jim Curtin.” The goals weren’t coming and now the goals are really coming in bunches. I want to save some, to be honest, for the playoffs.”
