The North American Soccer League kicks off its fifth season in Saturday with 11 teams. Newcomer Jacksonville will likely set the NASL single-game attendance record for its opener against FCEdmonton. Off the field, Minnesota United FC dominated the news with its acceptance into MLS in 2018. The big signings were made by the New York Cosmos, who added Spanish great Raul and U.S. U-17 star Haji Wright.
