Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville believes that Manchester City’s four-time African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure, is now hindering the club’sprogression after City exited the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16 for the second straight year following a 3-1 loss over two games to Barcelona. Neville said that games against Barca andLiverpool this season have shown substantial evidence that Toure does not perform well as one of two central holding midfielders; he needs to find a team willing to let him wander further forward in amore traditional No. 10 role.
