Good morning! The 2027 Women’s World Cup won’t be coming to the United States. Monday’s announcement that the USA and Mexico have withdrawn their joint bid ends the possibility of the USA hosting or co-hosting five major soccer events in five years. No worries. There will still be plenty of opportunities for U.S. fans to watch big-time soccer: 2024 Copa America, 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, 2026 Men’s World Cup and 2028 Olympics.
