It then held off sustained pressure from the Reign, needing eight saves from goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse, before Marta won a penalty fellow Brazilian Luana converted eight minutes into stoppage time.

• Youth Movement: The Reign started two teenagers, USWNT defender Jordyn Bugg and Ainsley McCammon, and a third, co-leading scorer Emeri Adames, came off the bench.
