Owner Dell Loy Hansen will take leave of absence from Utah pro soccer teams

In a statement released on Friday, UtahSoccer, which owns MLS’s Real Salt Lake, the NWSL’s Utah Royals and USL Championship’s Real Monarchs, said owner Dell Loy Hansen will take a leave of absence while MLS and the NWSL conductinvestigations in response to statements made by Hansen regarding therecent protests, including the postponement of RSL’s home match against LAFC, and allegations in The Athletic about racist remarks made Hansen.
