[JURISPRUDENCE] Brian Farley, the former treasurer of the Tri-Boro Youth Soccer Club in Whitehall Township, Pa., has beencharged with two third-degree felonies for stealing more than $100,000 from the club over more than six years.
The 54-year-old Farley, the club’s the treasurer since 2006, was chargedwith one count each of theft and receiving stolen property after Tino Babayan, the club president, filed a theft report with police in March after it wasdiscovered Farley had not paid for the uniforms he said he said he had paid for and the club’s bank accounts contained less than $5,000 as opposed to the $30,000 he had reported.
Babayansaid Farley was the only person with access to club bank accounts. Tri-Boro Youth Soccer Club has more than 600 players in its programs.
