[WOMEN’S WORLD CUP COUNTDOWN] German women’s soccer got a scare Monday when star Birgit Prinz went down with an ankleinjury and had to leave practice. Reports later in the day indicated that the injury would not prevent her from captaining the two-time defending champions at Women’s World Cup they will host.
