Cristiano Ronaldo, under scrutiny for the manner in which he uses tax havens, has received the support of his employer, Real Madrid, which issued a statement that the star “is fully ontop of his tax affairs.”
The Real Madrid statement:
“Following reports that have been published in recent days and in light of the certificate issued by the Tax Agency,which proves that our player Cristiano Ronaldo is fully on top of his tax affairs, Real Madrid demand the utmost respect for a player such as Cristiano Ronaldo, whose behavior has been absolutelyexemplary throughout his career at our club.”
