Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic defended Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese star lost possession twice in the first half of the match against Real Sociedad and was booed byMadrid fans. Ronaldo later scored the second goal in a 3-0 win over Real Sociedad.
Kovacic, who scored a goal and added an assist, told his club’s official website: “As for Ronaldo, he’sunder a lot of pressure and that’s to be expected. A player who gets a goal every game is under a lot of pressure, but you just can’t boo him.”
Any beer guzzling fan who while sitting in the stands complains about CR losing the ball once in a while should be covered in honey and placed in the desert. However it is a good thing that CR doesn’t play for one of our youth national teams and lose the ball. Then you are in real trouble.
