In the latest and perhaps most extreme example of cautioning a victim for diving, a referee in Belgian amateur ball ejected Julien Lecomte as he was being carried off the field ona stretcher.
Lecomte suffered a concussion and three displaced vertebrae while going up for a header and getting elbowed.
The ref showed red because Lecomte had gotten a yellow cardearlier in the game.
