Reports in Spain claim that Luis Suarez’s transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona is hours away from completion, with Mundo Deportivo in Catalonia claiming that Barca will pay between70 million ($95.4 million) and 73 million euros (99.5 million), which is said to be some 20 million euros ($27.3 million) below the Uruguay international’s release clause. Barca is apparentlyreceiving a discount after Suarez bit Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, subsequently receiving a four-month ban from the game by FIFA.
