AZ Alkmaar has reportedly allowed USA international Aron Johannsson to talk to Werder Bremen. ESPN reports that the Bundesliga club has been in the market for a new striker since thesurprising departure of Franco Di Santo to Schalke just over a week ago. The clubs have yet to reach an agreement on the transfer fee, with Bremen reportedly offering 4 million euros ($4.4million) and AZ asking for 5 million ($5.5 million). Johannsson has scored 38 goals in 84 outings for Alkmaar.
