Louis van Gaal has vowed to retire in 2017 as a promise to his wife, ESPN reports. The Manchester United coach also said that, no matter how much money another club offers him, he will notgo back on his word. The 63-year-old had originally intended to retire at 55 and is adamant that he will not be working when he turns 66 in August 2017. Van Gaal has won league titles with Ajax,Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AZ Alkmaar, as well as winning the UEFA Champions League with Ajax. He also helped the Netherlands to third place at the 2014 World Cup.
