Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard turned 16 on Wednesday, and reports in Germany claim that the Stromsgodset teenager will officially sign for Bayern Munich later in the day. However, abevy of top European clubs are said to be interested in the youngster, who has held trials at Real Madrid, Liverpool and Ajax, among others. In October, Odegaard became the youngest player ever toappear in a European Championship qualifier when he represented Norway in a 2-1 win against Bulgaria. Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently described him as the “talent of thecentury.”
He can’t possibly be any good! He’s only 5’7″ and they don’t even list his weight! Obviously Bayern, Arsenal, etc don’t understand that he can’t be able to withstand the physical play of the EPL and Bundesliga. Thank goodness he isn’t being pursued by any MLS teams.
