Evangelos Marinakis, the owner of Greek giant Olympiakos, was banned from participating in all soccer-related activities, as he faces felony charges for his alleged involvement in theestablishment of a criminal gang that fixed matches between 2011 and 2013. According to AFP, the other suspects implicated in the case are two other current owners of Greek Super League teams,one former owner, two general managers, nine members of the country’s football federation, three members of the second division Football League committees, two former members of the referee’sselection committee, six active Super League referees and seven Super League players.
