UEFA on Friday said it is investigating AS Roma, Inter Milan Liverpool, AS Monaco, Besiktas, Sporting Lisbon and Krasnodar for a potential breach of its financial fair play rules. According to theAP, these clubs must provide updated accounts until February as part of FFP monitoring. In addition, Europe’s governing body for soccer also opened six new cases against Sparta Prague,Hull City, Lyon, Panathinaikos, Ruch Chorzow and Wolfsburg, which must show that they are approaching break-even status financially. Clubs typically face fines and limits on player registration forfirst offenses.
