Sources tell ESPN FC and other news outlets that Raheem Sterling will tell Liverpool that he wants to leave the club when talks between the two parties resume this week. According to BBCSport, the 20-year-old England international informed coach Brendan Rodgers of his decision prior to Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea on May 10. Sterling is under contract until2017, which means that if he opts not to sign a new deal, Liverpool would have to decide whether to cash in on the player or risk losing him at the end of his deal.
