Bayern Munich will be without Bastian Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery for its DFB Pokal (German Cup) quarterfinal at Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night. Ribery, who suffered anankle injury nearly a month ago, also remains a doubt for the Bavarian giant’s upcoming UEFA Champions League quarterfinal series against FC Porto. Meanwhile, Schweinsteiger, 31, has beenstruggling with injuries since the 2014 World Cup final in Brazil last July.
