After the USA, Sweden stymied host Brazil, winning another 4-3 shootout after their semifinal before a capacity crowd at Rio’s Maracana Stadium ended in a 0-0 tie. Sweden, which has one win in fivegames, will face Germany, a 2-0 winner over previously unbeaten and untied Canada in the final. Both winners had lost to their semifinal opponents in the group stage.
