First, Boca Juniors. Now, River Plate. The two giants of Argentine soccer are struggling and the coaches of both teams resigned three days apart.

Leonardo Astrada quit as River Plate coach on Monday, a day after it fell to 17th place in Argentina’s Torneo Clausura with only 13 points in 14 games following its 0-0 tie at last-placeAtletico Tucuman. The result extended River’s winless streak to five games and scoreless streak to 465 days.
