A sports car crashed by Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo when he was still a Manchester United player has been listed on eBay for 50,000 euros, or approximately $65,000. ThePortuguese winger’s Ferrari Fiorano 599, which he crashed on the way to training in Manchester in 2009, was put up for sale on an “as it is basis” by a scrap dealership inDuppigheim, France.
According to CarTrade.com, “as it is,” Cristiano’s Fiorano lacks its front fascia, wheels, windshield and side mirrors, while its 6-liter V12 engine couldresume to its working condition after being fully repaired. The listing describes the car as “certainly repairable”, but CarTrade.com thinks Ronaldo’s Ferrari could easily be“the world’s most expensive article of junk.” However, ESPN reports that the listing has since beenremoved due to media intrusion. Purchased brand-new, a Fiorano would cost more than $323,000.
