Cristiano Ronaldo moved ahead of Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano in the club’s rankings for all-time leading goal-scorer on Sunday evening, as his hat trick powered Real toa 4-1 win at Espanyol, moving the Portuguese up to 310 goals from 299 games. His next target will be to surpass record-holder Raul Gonzalez who left the club with 323 goals in 741 games for theclub. Ronaldo’s treble moved him onto 45 goals for the season, four ahead of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, with one game remaining in the season.
