Wayne Rooney, back at his childhood club Everton, said he started to think about leaving Manchester United last November following a bad game he had at Watford that resulted in his exit for thestarting lineup.
“The hardest part was actually lifting the two trophies, the League Cup and the Europa League,” Rooney said on Monday. “You don’t feel like you deserve it becauseyou haven’t been part of the games. That was hard. You’re naturally happy because you have won but you don’t celebrate as much as if you were on the pitch.”
