  1. Some good young players on this team. Very good. Not perfect here in USA – youth soccer – but the eco-system around young talent at the tip of the pyramid – is growing in interesting ways. The MLS club Academies are doing their work – but also – the players and their families have opportunities – to supplement development in the Academy – that just did not exist 5 years ago. Will be interesting to see where this goes in the international context. These things – the eco system – the supplemental training and development – grows like weeds. In Texas – I notice a decade ago – Dallas had one of the most developed eco-systems for youth in the nation – now Houston has grown one – it was zero before – now – it’s something. As we speak change is coming.
Growing like weeds. Now you see – two Houston player in the mix. Families – are figuring out what they need to do to develop players – and it’s not just park your kid in MLS Academy. This is normal – this is how it is – everywhere – ex-USA. The family, the player, owns 60% or more, of the players development. The Academy is where you realize your efforts. Carry on! Good luck boys!

  2. Where is Cavan Sullivan?
He is listed in his signing article as a U-15 international. Has he outgrown it already?
