Real Salt Lake won its second game of the season, a 2-1 win over Toronto FC to improve its record to 2-3-1, despite the fourth penalty kick called against defending MLS champ in six games thisseason. Salt Lake was ahead 2-0 with two minutes left when Kyle Beckerman was called for a handball and Dwayne De Rosario converted for his sixth goal of theseason.

“Hopefully it will stop,” said Beckerman of the PK trend. Beckerman wasn’t sure if he stuck his hand out or the ball hit him in stride. “Whatever. We just need to keep going. Iexpect it will continue next week, too.”

RSL’s win extended its home unbeaten streak to 15 games.
