Casey Stoney, who entered the season as the NWSL’s longest-tenured coach, has been let go by the San Diego Wave. Englishman Paul Buckle, a Wave interim assistant coach in 2024, will on an interim basis replace Stoney, who joined San Diego from Manchester United in July of 2021 for the club’s inaugural 2022 season.
