Chris Leitch, who has helped turn around the San Jose Earthquakes’ youth program, has been promoted from the technical director of their Youth DevelopmentAcademy to the club’s technical director. The former MLS defender will work with Quakes general manager John Doyle on all aspects of scouting, playeracquisition and salary cap and roster management.
