1. Heather O’Reilly will retire after the 2019 NWSL season with the North Carolina Courage. The 34-year-old midfielder is arguably themost-decorated player in U.S. women’s soccer history. She won pro titles with Sky Blue FC (WPS) in 2012, FC Kansas City (NWSL) in 2015 and the Courage in 2018. The UNC product played in three WorldCups, winning in 2015, and on U.S. Olympic gold-medal teams in 2004, 2008 and 2012. She retired from the national team in 2016 with 231 caps.
