Schuster: Real Playing Ronaldo Out of Position

In an interview with AS, former Real Madrid coach German Bernd Schuster criticized his former club for deploying superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at center-forward, saying thePortuguese is much more effective when he plays on the wing. “You make things much easier for opponents when you put Cristiano up top alone, because he has less space,” the German said. “He needssomething more, he is not so comfortable in tight spaces.
