Soccer on TV

There’s a full slate of MLS games on the first weekend of the 2011 season. Fox Soccer, which will be airing 31 regular-season games — 14 on Friday nights and 17 Saturday nights – starts withcoverage of defending champion Colorado hosting newcomer Portland on Saturday. Spanish-language Telefutura airs Los Angeles-New England on Sunday. MLS games not broadcast by national outlets areavailable on the Direct Kick package, which costs $79 for more than 200 games and is free this weekend.
