Spain’s national public prosecutor Pablo Ruiz has requested jail time for Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu as well as the club’s former president SandroRosell for alleged financial mismanagement and fraud involving Brazilian forward Neymar’s controversial transfer from Santos to Barca in 2013. Ruiz asked that if found guilty,Bartomeu should receive two years and three months in prison, compared to seven years and three months for Rosell. Both men deny the charges.
